Hi, Patrick! This will cover both websites as we will do them side by side. Both sites will use Spotify. The site will be user friendly, but less customizable than what we were able to build in Webflow (I just want to note that).

Goals & objectives

Build a transaction based site (e-commerce) that showcases products. Daughter's site must integrate and function with Modalyst. McManus Auctions needs to be able to clear out inventory.

Key Components of the Build


  • We will work on this site first and it will be completed by 09/24
  • Modalyst Connection- Modalyst is the connector between what is being drop shipped and what is being sold on
  • Will be a simple site that houses products. We can add in a blog if there's a need for one. This is included in your Spotify theme.

McManus Auctions

  • Will have a retail shop
  • Shop must auto-delete out of stock - This app is 6 dollars per month and will clean sweep our shopping cart -
  • Have a main header so it is extremely easy to get to the auction house (on hibid)
  • We can use JotForm for consignment forms if you'd like. The program solves the issues of the fillable PDF that we had.

  • We can use a chat-bot to quickly direct our visitors (included in web costs)
  • I am able to incorporate this into the structure of the site using Facebook messenger or Tidio.
  • There is an app called Skipio as well I'd check out, it's $99/month, but it's text message marketing -

Part II - The Solution
The Solution

I'd suggest building out a website with a content management system using Shopify for both. We will need to add in an app that clears out 0 stock inventory for McManus ($6.00 per month) and an app that connects Modalyst (which is completed)

Content Management Systems (CMS)

CMS (Which stands for Content Management System) is typically used for enterprise content management and web content management. We can do this for each product that we offer. Spotify includes a back-end, meaning editors can add/delete and edit text, images, and products on the site. As the operation scales so can the website.

Tracking For Strong Analytics To Improve ROI

Development Should Include the Following Integrations

The golden rule in business is if you can't measure it, you can't manage it. We want to build a site that enables us to know who is coming to our site, when they are coming to our site, and where they are coming from. MD's web development includes the following tracking tools to know how the website is performing.

Google Tag Manager, Analytics, & Social Pixels- Snippets of code to track valuable user data. This snippet of JavaScript collects demographics, performance data for the websites and ads, and other actionable data.

Google Optimize - Optimize shows us which site experiences engage our customers.

Automation For Scalability & Growth

Spotify holds as a CRM if we don't have one established. When people inquire online or complete a micro-conversion (such as the coupon) all order activity will be automated. Once an order is placed we will want to automate order communications. This includes a "Thank you for your order" email, an email for tracking, and a delivery confirmation email. Once a customer is in our CRM we can automate these strategies. This is where we can use automation to save money, time, and resources.
