Consurgo Group

Jan 19, 2023

Hey, Doris I've put together a game plan for the Consurgo Group. The site will highlight what you do with an emphasis on requesting a quote. We will build out a website where people can fill a shopping cart and request a quote of what is in the shopping cart.

Goals & objectives

Cater a digital experience for those looking to browse our catalog and request a quote based on what the visitor puts in a cart.

Key Components of the Build

Site Pages

  • Home Page - Eye catching, overview of products, pushes to next step (viewing individual products)
  • CMS (Content Management System) Pages For Categories - This will be controlled from a user friendly database. and populate based on the products you put in them.
  • CMS (Product Pages) - Individual product pages from a user friendly database.
  • About - How long you've been in business, about the company, etc.
  • Contact - General contact page with form and phone number.

Other Key Components

  • Image Optimization - Reducing the file size of your images as much as possible without sacrificing quality and putting in alt-text (helpful for SEO & Load Time)
  • Ease of use - We will make a website that can be self hosted, easily updated, and modern.
  • Modern Look - We will focus on building a user friendly and modern website.

The Process - The User Journey

  • They will fill up a cart with products from the catalog
  • They will request a quote
  • Get an email stating the request was received
  • Once the quote is ready it will be sent to the customer.

The Process - From Our Backend

  • We can control inventory, pricing (although we can hide it), etc.
  • We can confirm quote with a price.
  • You could use Shopify to charge the customer, or you can do that through another system.

Post Launch Options

  • Self Hosting - This option would be 30-40 dollar/month (for the shopping cart, automate quote process, hosting, etc.)
  • MD Hosting - This would be $139. We would take care of the above and you have 3 hours of web work per month you can utilize.
Part II - The Solution
The Solution

We will use shopify in order to have a seamless process all within one system (the CMS, the quote request, and static pages)

Content Management Systems (CMS)

CMS is typically used for enterprise content management and web content management. CMS will be used for categories and products to easily control our catalog. We want to be able to update this content seamlessly and easily edit after launch. The CMS will allow us to do that. I would design a webpage one time that gets populated dynamically by a database. This is so important because we want to be able to differentiate certain product groups with specific webpages. The only way to do this in a cost/time effective way is through a CMS.

Tracking For Strong Analytics To Improve ROI

Development Includes the Following Integrations

Google Tag Manager, Analytics, & Social Pixels- Snippets of code to track valuable user data. This snippet of JavaScript collects demographics, performance data for your websites and ads, and other actionable data.

Full Story - Full Story is a tag that enables Google Tag Manager to capture visitors interactions with our website (Video Recording).

Automation For Scalability & Growth

Inquiry - I recommend using a Customer Relation Management software (CRM), but we can also build an integration that is compatible with a spreadsheet or possibly your current CRM. You will also be able to export customers, products, etc. out of our database into spreadsheets and other databases if needed.
